  1. Scope of Privacy Policy. Your privacy is important to Keeper. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that we receive through our Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications, even if they are linked to or otherwise accessible through our Services

  2. Definitions. As used in this Privacy Policy, the following terms have the following meanings: Customer”, “you” or “your” refers to the person or entity accessing or using the Services. Keeper”, “we” or “us” refers to Keeper Recruitment Corporation. Personal Information” means any information that identifies, or could be used to identify, an individual person. Personal Information includes information such as an individual’s name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address. Personal Information also includes information about an individual’s activities, such as information about his or her use of our Services, and demographic information, such as date of birth, gender, geographic area, and preferences, when any of this information is linked to personal information that identifies that individual. Personal Information does not include “aggregate” or other non-personally identifiable information. Aggregate information is information that we collect about a group or category of products, services, or users that is not personally identifiable or from which individual identities cannot be identified. Services” refers to all the products and services Keeper provides, individually and collectively. This includes all hosted software applications, application platform interfaces, websites, services, features and/or functionalities we make available to you.

  1. Collection Of Information

    1. Through the Services, Keeper may request that you provide information, including email address,. We may collect this information when you create an account, email us, use a messaging functionality we provide through the Services, respond to a survey, post a rating or review, post or answer a question, or otherwise upload content or through the Services.

    2. Keeper collects certain information about your use of our Services automatically, such as what portions of the Services you access, what links you click on, searches you conduct, titles and characteristics of job postings you review, and how long you stay on a page or portion of the Services. Additionally, we automatically collect certain information about the computer hardware and software you use when accessing or using the Services. This information includes, without limitation and as applicable, your  email address  , device type, browser type, referral site, and the date and time of access. Certain of this information, including your IP address, constitutes Personal Information. 

    3. Additionally, Keeper may display  information, through third-party products such as name and photo  services in connection with our Services. 

  2. Purposes and Use of Information. In addition to the uses described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use your information, for the following purposes:

  • Creating or updating a Keeper account.

  • Responding to communications you send to us.

  • Providing customer service to you.

  • Remembering you when you revisit our Services;

  • Improving the experience of users of the Services. 

  • Sending you notifications you have authorized us to provide to you.

  • Informing you about Keeper products and services or product and services of our affiliates, partners or other third parties.

  • Updating, modifying, and analyzing our records.

  • Delivering communications between you and another user of the Services.

  • Preventing or detecting fraud, spam, illegal or unauthorized use of the Services

  • Any other purposes you have authorized.

  1. Disclosure Of Information To Third Parties

    1. Keeper does not sell your information to third parties or provide it to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We may disclose your information to third parties as described below in this section.

    2. Keeper may disclose your information to third parties if you have authorized such disclosure. For example, if you inform us that you wish to receive information about the products or services of third parties, we may provide your contact information to third parties such as employers, recruiters, agents, brokers, dealers, job candidates, data aggregators, marketers or others for the purpose of contacting you. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with such third parties, you may opt out by emailing us at  hello@keeperai.com.

    3. We may disclose your information to third-party contractors and service providers who assist Keeper in providing our Services to you and who provide certain services on our behalf. This includes third parties that host our servers, provide data analytics, provide marketing assistance, facilitate our email communications, conduct marketing, process payments, provide customer service, and who help us detect, protect against and respond to fraud and security vulnerabilities. These service providers are authorized to use any Personal Information only as necessary to provide their services to us. We use Google Analytics (provided by Google, Inc.) to gather information about how users interact with certain parts of our Services. Google Analytics utilizes cookies. For more information about the use of cookies and other tracking technologies in connection with our Services, see Section 7, below.

    4. Some of our Services may support integrations with third-party products and services. If you elect to enable a third-party integration, you may be allowing the third party to access Personal Information that Keeper has about you. You should carefully review the privacy policies of third parties whose products or services you elect to integrate with.

    5. We may disclose your information, including Personal Information, if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary or prudent to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Keeper; (c) prevent a crime or other illegal activity; or (d) protect the personal safety of any person.

    6. We may disclose and transfer your information to a third party who acquires all or a substantial portion of Keeper’s business, whether such acquisition is by way of merger, consolidation or purchase of all or a substantial portion of our assets. In addition, in the event Keeper becomes the subject of a bankruptcy proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, Keeper or its trustee in bankruptcy may sell, license, or otherwise dispose of such information in a transaction approved by the bankruptcy court. If any such event occurs, we will display a prominent notice on our website or notify you via email.

  2. Retention and Protection of Information. Keeper retains your information for as long as it is required for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. Sometimes, we may retain your information for longer periods as permitted or required by applicable law, such as to maintain suppression lists, prevent abuse, if required in connection with a legal claim or proceeding, to enforce our agreements, or for tax or accounting purposes. When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize your information from our active databases. We will also securely store the information and isolate it from further processing on backup discs until deletion is possible. We have implemented reasonable, state-of-the-art physical, electronic, and procedural measures intended to secure your information from accidental loss and from unlawful or unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. HOWEVER, THE TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION VIA THE INTERNET IS NOT COMPLETELY SECURE, AND WE CANNOT, AND DO NOT, GUARANTEE THE ABSOLUTE SECURITY OF ANY INFORMATION TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICES.

  3. Use Of Cookies And Other Tracking Technologies

    1. Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts are used by Keeper and our third-party service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering Keeper Services, tracking user movements around our websites, and gathering demographic information about our user base in the aggregate. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis.

    2. We may use cookies on a Keeper website to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Keeper pages, or register for certain Services, a cookie helps us to remember your specific information (such as username, password and preferences). Keeper’s use of cookies allows us to provide a more personalized experience and to more quickly and easily retrieve information you previously provided to us.

  4. Your California Privacy Rights. Pursuant to California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information (as defined in the statute) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from Keeper, once per calendar year, information about the personal information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their direct marketing purposes. If applicable, this information would include the categories of and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared such personal information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in the current year will receive information about the prior year).   5. Minimum Age Requirements. The Services are not intended for use by any person under the age of 16. However, if local laws in the jurisdiction in which you reside provide for an alternative minimum age for Keeper to lawfully provide the Services to you, then that minimum age shall apply. If you are under the age of 18 or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may only use the Services under the supervision of your parent or legal guardian.

  6. Children’s Privacy. Keeper respects the privacy of children and we are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Keeper does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13 without prior parental consent, except as permitted by COPPA.   7. Changes To Privacy Policy. As our Services continue to develop, we may add new services and features to them. In the event that these additions affect our Privacy Policy, or if other changes in our privacy practices or applicable laws necessitate changes to this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. If we make a material change in the way we use your Personal Information, we will provide prominent notice of the change through the Services or in an email to you. We will not, however, materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of personal information we have previously collected from you without your express consent.
